200000 cabling spindles sold and presentation of new Allma TC 2 in China

Saurer Allma (still belonging to the Swiss Oerlikon Group), located in Germany, has delivered its 200000th spindle to a Chinese customer (Shenma) in China and marked this occasion on April 25, 2013 at Suzhou works and with the handing over of a gold-plated cabling spindle to Shenma. The same day also the new Allma TC2 for industrial yarns was introduced at an open house presentation at Suzhou works  to customers from China, India and other Asian countries

Since 1991 Allma has been manufacturing cabling machines for the production of tyre cord with high efficiency and quality, and replacing the ring twisting technology. Allma delivers the twisting and cabling machines around the globe and it covers around 66 % of the market, meaning that two of three tyres contain tire cord produced on Allma’s twisting or cabling machines.

Allma’s CableCorder offers increased productivity, online quality measuring, two-for-one twisting and cabling in one machine and in 2011 the fourth generation was presented  with the Allma CC4 and was betowed with the Award for Innovation and Excellence, also because it allows energy savings of up to 50 % compared with other available machines in the market. The machine offers also a considerably reduced noise level and yarn break rates reduced by 50 %, all further benefits to the customers.

The open house at Suzhou Allma’s work by presenting Allma TC2, a revolution in the production of industrial yarns has a great number of new technological features and the guest from Asia could witness the new characteristics themselves. The machines were equipped with different materials.  After the machine presentation there was also a tour through the facilities.

The new patented Allma TC2 offers a high flexibility and allows a great variety of materials such as PA, PES, CV, PP, PE, AR, etc. They can be processed in a wide range of very fine to very coarse yarn counts and it meeting the high quality demands of today’s market. Customers may react to market requirements and can produce the smallest lots or sample economically and at delivery speeds of 450 m/min. The PrimePac twist packages produced are of particularly high and homogenous density and lare gunning lengths thanks to highly precise length measuring, and the packages ensure better unwinding properties and long lengths for further processing and reduction of packaging work.
