DyStar with new European distribution warehouse

DyStar Colours Distribution GmbH, located in Frankfurt-Hoechst has built jointly with 4PL Central Station Deutschland GmbH (headquartered in Basel, Switzerland and family owned) a new European warehouse in Biebesheim (D) with a total investment of around EUR 2.7 million

Dystar3 DyStar group is headquartered in Singapore and the German and European textile markets enjoy an important role for the company. There are European production sites in Germany, Portugal and Turkey. The state-of-the-art distribution warehouse will be the home of the inventory of textile dyes and textile auxiliaries and serve European markets. The investment represents a strategic step to improve logistics and to further enhance the business expansion. The capacities of the three production sites are now centralized in the new warehouse. This allows more efficiency and flexibility in the customer supply processes. In 2011 the Business of DyStar Colours Distribution GmbH showed a double digit growth.

The 4 PL group focuses on the chemistry business, railway technology, mechanical engineering and plant building, it employs around 200 persons at ten locations in seven countries and is – according to in-house information – the global leader and true Fourth Party Logistic provider and it operates as an independent general contractor.
