American company sells off EMEA Tissue Business
Georgia-Pacific, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of building products, tissue, packaging, paper, cellulose and related chemicals, employing globally 35000 people has sold its EMEA tissue business to SCA (S)
The transaction entails Georgia-Pacific’s consumer and away-from-home tissue paper products and personal care business and manufacturing assets across Europe, including leading consumer brands as away-from-home and private label products developed, manufactured, marketed and sold by 4700 employees.
Georgia-Pacific maintains its presence in Europe primarily through regional offices for GP Cellulose and GP Harmon Recycling.
