Swedish Clothier KappAhl with new country manager
Swedish KappAhl has appointed as of Mai 2013, Anna Karin Holck, she will assume the responsibility for the Swedish home market and its 166 stores. In addition she will lead and develop the sales organisation.
The new country manager is currently Sales Director at MQ Retail AB (S) where she worked since 2010. She has a broad retail experience and with chain driven companies.
Management changes at Swiss Forbo
Swiss Forbo (Flooring and Movement Systems) announces that Dr. Albert Gnägi, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the past eight years will reach the mandatory retirement age in early 2014 and he will stay on the board for another year in order to ensure continuity and long-term succession planning. It is the intention that This E. Schneider, Delegate of the Board of Directors and CEO for the past nine year to succeed Gnägi as Executive Chairman in spring of 2014.
The Board of Directors of Forbo Holding Ltd. has appointed Stephan Bauer (51) as new CEO and Chair of the Executive Board of Forbo Group as of January 1, 2014. Since 2008 he has been CEO of the globally operating Business Unit Control Products and Systems of Siemens Building Technology Division. Previously he had leading positions at Siemens VDO Automotive/ Continental Automotive over around 17 years. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. He will join Forbo in fall of 2013. Additionally Vice Chairman Michael Pieper stands for re-election at the ordinary general assembly 2013 and another term of three years.
