With this interactive session, you will discover how women entrepreneurs can use intellectual property (IP) rights to achieve their goals, generate income, create jobs, tackle local and global challenges and support national development. The webinar will provide an opportunity to inspire women entrepreneurs worldwide through sharing success stories and best practices in their business development using IP tools.

The goal of this webinar series is to empower, support, mentor and build capacities for women within IP ecosystem while highlighting the increasing contribution of woman innovators. Additionally, a series of follow-up support activities would be offered to registered participants.

The event will touch on the following topics:

• Supporting female performers on the screen: experiences and challenges
• Why IP is important to Women Entrepreneurs and how it is beneficial for their creations and innovations
• Initiatives for SMEs: Scale-up your IP with the IP Diagnostics tool
• Protecting your Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications internationally with the Hague, Madrid, and Lisbon systems
• Protecting your inventions internationally with the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)
• Resolving IP and Technology Disputes through WIPO Mediation and Arbitration

The webinar will be held in English and, as usual, offered free of charge.
