An increasingly comprehensive and responsible offer is taking shape to be an excellent branding solution partner
Constant product research, many new collections and increasingly sustainable processes: METALBOTTONI is approaching the Kingpins Show in Amsterdam ( April 18-19, 2018) with very clear ideas about the near future for the accessory world, most notably for denim.
This ambition is furthe
r supported by the vision that has turned the company into a truly excellent “branding solution partner”, with an offer range which is as wide as it is sustainable, continuously reinventing shapes and styles, focusing on increasingly personalised services.
“The challenge is making sure that the ongoing research and development effort by our Style Office allows us to expand our offer, customer services and personalisation possibilities – explains Maria Teresa Ricciardo, Creative Director at METALBOTTONI – not just for the button sector, but for the whole accessory industry, keeping our focus on product and process eco-innovation”.
Always with an eye to creating a 100% green-oriented processing method, METALBOTTONI has developed a whole new product range for the denim world in the AW 2019/20 season. First and foremost is the new MONSTER collection, the great classic dedicated to denim, restyled using novel eco-compatible materials and processes. A new entry for this season is the relaunched LEATHER ACCESSORIES line which includes tags and rear waistbands, made of leather and other materials. This line has been totally redesigned in order to become increasingly sustainable, bringing together high quality and eco-friendliness.
Leather Accessories – using leather for responsible denim
The great novelty for this season is the relaunching of a totally restyled LEATHER ACCESSORIES line, including tags and rear waistbands made of leather, eco-leather and GUMMIX®, the special patented system for an innovative product resulting from the merger of silicone with other materials.
This range extends the outreach of the offer by METALBOTTONI even further, as a reliable partner, able to support brands with a comprehensive range of accessories, buttons, rivets and tags for the denimwear world, a sector where the company can boast long-standing experience combined with excellent quality.
A completely renewed collection, based on three main moods; casual, sporty and luxury, to interpret in an assertive and distinctive way the many facets and contaminations of contemporary denim.
Also the eco-sustainable component of the range is extended, thanks to new tags made of recycled leather obtained from processing shavings, bearing witness once again to how much this company is authentically inspired by circular economy principles.
MONSTER: green is the new blue
Also the great classic dedicated to denim is following a green direction with the new NO IMPACT finishing, the manufacturing and process protocol which METALBOTTONI is continuing to implement. Jeans buttons and rivets have been designed keeping clearly in mind the moods highlighted by the Kingpins Show: “Lost Youth”, exploring the nostalgia for the Emo, Grunge, Rave, Punk and Indie youth movements; “Millenial Blues”, inspired by the utility-style of the early 21st century, with a retro-recent touch; “Altitude”, telling about the world of extreme sports and outdoor-retro apparel; “Off-beat Rodeo”, with remarkable glam-rock, rodeo and vintage Las Vegas influences.
The new NO IMPACT finishing: an increasingly extensive range
The NO IMPACT sustainability protocol is extended thanks to a new range of eco-compatible proposals. Being a product and mainly geared towards the world of denim, exactly because of the characteristics outlined so far, the NO IMPACT portfolio is enriched with novel finishing, developed with a view to highlighting the exclusive materials which result in unique accessories. Brass, bronze, pinchbeck and apeco; these are the materials used in combination with a series of low environmental impact interpretations. The new NO IMPACT finishes, indeed, involve 100% mechanical processing, without any use of chemical agents. Also galvanic treatments are banned and, moreover, water consumption in the process is close to zero, thanks to new technologies which, over the past few months, have allowed for a constant reduction in the amount of water required for processing. A range of solutions which is expanding beyond denim, and after the first previews of the SS 2019 in February for the LABORA line, is currently working on proposals with a more polished and glossy effect, also suitable for the ready-to-wear world.
It is exactly under the umbrella of the NO IMPACT green protocol that the METALBOTTONI innovation is driving the world of denim-related accessories, but not only, towards a path of responsibility and caring for the environment, which brands and consumer are increasingly expecting. An already wide range is being extended even more, to provide “endless style solutions”, the guiding light in this company’s vision.
