Interactive Webinar: Youth and Intellectual Property – A View of WIPO Services and Initiatives (June 28, 2022)

We are pleased to invite you to attend the WIPO webinar on Youth and Intellectual Property: A View on WIPO Services and Initiatives on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

In this interactive session, you will discover how young inventors, creators and entrepreneurs can use intellectual property to achieve their goals, generate income, create jobs, tackle local and global challenges and support the development of their communities.

The goal of this webinar is to inspire and encourage young entrepreneurs to access and use IP services through best practices in business development. Young entrepreneurs will be able to exchange views on issues related to IP for youth, learn from first-hand, peer experiences and benefit from the know-how of our WIPO team.  Additional follow-up support and activities will also be offered.

The sixth panel sessions will explore:

  • Why IP is important to young entrepreneurs and how it is beneficial for their innovations and businesses.
  • Initiatives for young entrepreneurs and SMEs: Scale-up your IP with the IP Diagnostics
  • Protecting your Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications internationally with the Hague, Madrid, and Lisbon systems
  • Protecting your inventions internationally with the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)
  • Creative Industries and IP Economy

The webinar will be held in English, and, as usual, offered free of charge. Interpretation into French and Spanish will be available:
