Lenzing’s Veocel brand joins environmental advocates

 

The Veocel brand of Lenzing has announced the introduction of the ‘Veocel Cares for the Future’ campaign, which will begin on World Environment Day 2022 internationally and regionally. The ‘cares for the future’ campaign will comprise a series of specialised events throughout Europe, the United States, and Asia as the start of dedicated consumer education and engagement initiative.

The effort will use social media platforms and content to inspire, educate, and empower consumers to play a greater part in caring for the world and establishing a brighter future for future generations, with the goal of motivating and engaging communities to care for the environment.

Monique Buch, vice president of global nonwovens business, Lenzing AG, said that their care at Veocel extends beyond their children and families to the larger society, our environment, and our planet. Their new worldwide campaign aims to widen the definition of caring at every stage of life, from couples to newlyweds and young parents. They believe that through collaborating with environmental campaigners, customers from all over the world will be inspired to join them in caring for the environment and sharing their stories with others. Chet Lam, a well-known environmental activist and musician, will kick off the campaign in Asia with a specifically designed #IDo Pledge, which reflects a lifetime commitment to caring for nature and conserving the environment for future generations. This social media initiative will feature young influencers from China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand who are experiencing major life milestones, such as getting married and having children, and who want to empower their generation to care for the future, according to a press release from the company.
