Inflation made simple

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), Eurostat is promoting material that makes understanding inflation simpler.

Eurostat has a section in Statistics Explained called Statistics 4 beginners where statistical indicators and concepts are explained in a simple way to make the world of statistics a bit easier for pupils and students, as well as for everyone else with an interest in statistics.
