Timberland links with Hurr to release first rental collection

American outdoors wear brand, Timberland, has partnered with the London-based clothing rental platform Hurr, to launch its first-ever rental collection.

The two companies have collaborated on a Fall/Winter 2021 rental collection, which expands Hurr’s offering of outwear. This marks the first time Timberland products will be available for rent.

The outerwear line will be available in red, greys, black, and khakis starting on November 3rd, with rates starting at GBP 17 for a four-day rental.

Davide Romeo, CLM and digital marketplace Development Manager at Timberland, said that they’re thrilled to be launching their first rental offering in the UK with Hurr, and they feel they’ve created a best-in-class rental model. This collaboration with Hurr is a significant step forward in Timberland’s efforts to promote circularity and engage Gen Z consumers.

Timberland’s rental collection is part of the company’s continuous environmental efforts as it promotes more conscious consumption. By 2025, the company has vowed to plant 50 million trees around the world.
