Brighter days ahead

The forecast is sunny for the US economy. Black and Hispanic/Latino workers were 60 percent more likely than white respondents to say they anticipate more economic opportunities in the next year. And 50 percent of first-generation immigrants say most Americans have opportunities to find good jobs.

The soft underbelly of postpandemic businesses

In our newest McKinsey Global Survey on digital strategy, more than a thousand global business leaders pinpointed the soft spots in their businesses where digital disruption poses the biggest threat. Profit structures, the ability to bundle products and services, and operations worry executives the most.

Agile for all is coming—but how fast?

McKinsey Global Surveys have tracked the progress of agile transformations since 2017. In the latest edition, more than 800 transforming organisations report that the shift to agile ways of working is happening fastest and most thoroughly in telecom and financial services.
