We are pleased to invite you to the next event in our WIPO ccTLD Webinar Series on Thursday October 8, 2020 from 10:00 a.m to 10:30 a.m, CEST.
Who is this webinar for?
The webinar is intended for brand owners, attorneys, domain name registrants, ccTLD registries, domain name policy-makers and other IP specialists and practitioners.
What will you learn?
In this short webinar to be held on October 8, 2020, you will learn the basics on how to file a .MX domain name complaint against a “cybersquatter” (including the most recent updates on the .MX Reglamento that turned the proceeding into a 100% electronic proceeding), and in particular:
- the main characteristics of the .MX (Mexico) proceedings (as compared to the UDRP), and
- the main benefits of filing a case with WIPO in comparison to court litigation.
Even in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak, WIPO remains committed to providing its full domain name dispute resolution services, and significant numbers of cases continue to be filed, notably in the biotech/pharma, Internet/IT, banking/finance, and events-related categories.
The webinar is free of charge and will be held in English. A Spanish-language version will be held at 10:00 a.m, Mexico City Time (5:00 p.m CEST).
Unable to attend?
If you cannot attend the webinar on October 8, 2020, you will be able to access a recording of the webinar shortly after the session on our webinar webpage.
