Sulzer is partnering with H&M to recycle worn textiles

Sulzer, the industrial group with headquarters in Winterthur, Switzuerland, has been investing millions jointly with Fast Fasthion specialist H&M in the British start-up company Worn Again Technologies.

With Sulzer technology, that company has developed a process, that worn textiles made of cotton or polyester, including packaging, automatically is performing seperating and recycling processes.

Since January 2020 a pilot plant was erected and industrial production should start in 2021.
