MAM Baby honored for Original 6+ Night Pacifier with prestigious JPMA Innovation Award

MAM, the leading brand of medically sound and innovative baby products, is delighted to announce they are the recipient of a 2020 Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) Innovation Award in the “Tried and True” category for their Original 6+ Night Pacifier. The JPMA announced the 2020 Innovation Award winners during the opening of this year’s virtual JPMA Show.

The JPMA Innovation Awards highlight some of the most exciting new products in the marketplace today. From high-tech products and interactive toys to helpful apps and important safety gear, JPMA Innovation Awards participants raise the bar in an effort to offer parents products that provide innovative ways to safeguard and care for baby.

For the first time ever, the JPMA Show went virtual to showcase the best innovations in baby and children’s products. Buyers, media, influencers and others came together for the online Show where the latest and greatest in updated designs, smart safety apps and devices, forward-thinking fashion and more were highlighted.

Thirteen category award recipients and one Best in Show winner – the overall highest score across all categories – were selected. The Special Awards are one of these thirteen category awards and include the Tried and True Award. The latter is a brand-new award within the 2020 JPMA Innovation Awards, open to any product that has been on the market for longer than 5 years, and was granted to a total of 5 winners. MAM is among them, honored for its Original 6+ Night Pacifier.

An overview of all winners and award categories can be seen HERE

The MAM Original 6+ Night pacifier helps give parents a good night’s sleep, as its button glows overnight, making the pacifier easy for baby to find in the dark. The pacifier is easy to charge, its materials are 100% safe for babies and, like all MAM products, free of BPA and BPS.

“We are really excited to be honored with this prestigious Innovation Award. For more than 40 years, we have positioned ourselves as an industry leader in developing innovative baby products with a focus on the well-being, safety and health of babies,” said Peter Röhrig, Founder and CEO of MAM Baby.

MAM also recently received an EU product safety award for setting and exceeding product safety standards for the company’s pacifiers and feeding equipment. This was in recognition of MAM’s leading role in developing relevant standards and thus raising the level of safety throughout the industry.

MAM was founded over 40 years ago with the firm conviction that there is nothing that creates a more lasting effect than focusing on the healthy development of babies. MAM combines technological innovation, medical function and contemporary design to develop superior baby care products. More than 70 million MAM products are sold each year in almost 60 countries. The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is the voice of the industry on quality and safety for baby and children’s products in North America. The Association advocates for safety through product certification programs and legislative and regulatory involvement. It acts as a comprehensive source for baby product information and education.

The Innovation Awards competition began in 1989 as the Most Innovative Product Contest and has become recognized as a highly acclaimed competition. In 2003 JPMA renamed it as the Innovation Awards to more accurately represent the focus on innovation.
