The Bangladesh Denim Times, a niche denim magazine first of its kind in the country, was presented to the public and launched on April 14, 2017. An absolutely brand-new publication that will boost denim culture in the whole country
Bangladesh Denim Times is a back-to-back magazine for denim professionals and denim lovers. Being a non-profit, independent, magazine, created and realized by the dynamic mind of Md. Mostafiz Uddin, a well-known professional from the Denim business, the brand-new magazine has amongst its purposes to quench the thirst of knowledge of professionals in the sector, establishing a bridge between the local industry and international retailers and brands of denim.
Bangladesh Denim Times will highlight firstly news from the denim business, denim trends, news from brands and from the whole industry. It will also promote great denim manufacturing and great denim creativity from across the world. Apart from this, the Bangladesh Denim Times will strongly promote the country and culture of Bangladesh along with its constantly growing denim industry.
The ideal stage chosen to officially distribute the first number of the magazine is Bangladesh Denim Expo, 17-18 May 2017, International Convention City, Bashundhara Dhaka. Thanks to its growing international outreach, establishing itself as a unique global platform to connect and boost business for the whole industry, Bangladesh Denim Expo represents the perfect event to highlight and distribute Bangladesh Denim Times that finds its natural place and audience at the upcoming 6th edition of the Expo!
Denim, in fact, is one of the important sub-sectors of Bangladesh’s apparel industry. In terms of denim exports, Bangladesh ranks first in the European Union and second in the United States. The magazine apart from publishing news and stories on the Bangladesh denim industry, will also contain regular features on different aspects of denim, ranging from trends, fashion, finishes to the introduction of new technologies in the global denim realm. In every issue the magazine will also publish a unique feature on travel destinations, history and heritage of Bangladesh.
Complimentary copies of the magazine will be circulated among denim entrepreneurs and professionals in Bangladesh and also among important stakeholders of the industry.
It will be released three times a year & will be printed on premium paper; the soft copies of the magazine will be sent to brands, buyers and key international retailers’ representatives of denim.
