Prizes with a total value of EUR 10000 wait for the winners

The presentation and the award ceremony of the Golden Shirt Award are always very special highlights of the TV TecStyle Visions in Stuttgart. For the tenth time, the trade magazine TVP offers the prestigious prize, now the official slogan for the award competition is announced. To coincide with the anniversary of the TV TecStyle Visions in 2018, the ‘Celebration’ is the official slogan. The number ‘10’ will be the focus of the 10th edition of the trade fair. Focus is the finishing of T-Shirts

To ensure that as many printers and embroiderers as possible can participate in the contest, the focus has been placed on the origin of the competition, as Andreas Farnung, chief editor of the trade magazine TVP, reports: “We put the focus of the next edition Golden Shirt Award on the decoration of T-Shirts. It doesn’t matter if the T-Shirt is long, or short sleeved. In order to enable as many textile decorator, designers and other creatives as possible to participate in the competition and to enable a better comparability of the submissions, a maximum of two decoration techniques may be combined. There is, of course, no limit to the creativity with regard to the design and implementation of the decoration process!” A panel of experts from the industry evaluates the submissions regarding design, creativity and processing.

Prizes with a total value of EUR 10,000 are waiting for the winners

Numerous companies sponsor the funding, which will be increased to EUR 10000 for the 10th edition of the TV TecStyle Visions. The main sponsor of the Golden Shirt Award is Kornit Digital Europe GmbH. The producer of advanced digital textile printing solutions donates again EUR 3000 for the award winner of the Golden Shirt Award. The second place receives EUR 2000, sponsored by IVM SignTEX. The Madeira yarn factory once again participates as a sponsor of the third place and provides prize money of EUR 1000.  In addition to the three winners, special prizes of EUR 1000 each will be awarded to the best performances in the categories ‘direct flock’ (sponsor: Maag  Flockmaschinen), ‘Stick’ (sponsor: Amann & Söhne GmbH & Co. Presentation of the contributions at the TV TecStyle Visions

All contributions will be presented as part of a special exhibition and fashion-show during TV TecStyle Visions in Stuttgart. The visitors of Europe’s leading trade fair for textile decoration and promotion have the possibility to decide the winner of the public prize. The winner of this award will also receive a grant of EUR 1000, which is donated by the L-Shop team as sponsor.

TecStyle VisionsTV TecStyle Visions is the European leading trade fair for textile decoration and promotion and is hosted in the halls of fair Stuttgart every two years since 2000. The exhibition focuses on textile silk screen printing, digital textile printing, transfer printing solutions, embroidery, techniques of rhinestone application, flocking, laser engraving and services. Textiles and printing substrates such as promotional textiles, workwear and textile accessories are also largely considered. We are expecting as much as 270 exhibitors and more than 11,000 visitors for the upcoming TV TecStyle Visions taking place from February 15-17, 2018.

Since 2012, four trade shows on visual and haptic communication are taking place under the roof of EXPO 4.0. Visitors have one admission ticket to visit all four trade shows and to get information about all aspects of communication beyond their own core business. The combination of four trade shows gives exhibitors the chance to win new companies as customers. We are expecting as much as 600 exhibitors and more than 16000 visitors for the upcoming EXPO 4.0 taking place from February 15 -17, 2018.
