Saudi diaper maker takes over old K-C Site in Spain

According to German resources, an abandoned Kimberly-Clark diaper plant in Calatayud, Spain has found a new operator. The reports claim that Saudi-based manufacturers Hygiene Care Company is investing EUR 2.5 million in the site, which was closed in 2013, to ultimately make baby diapers there

Kimberly-Clark closed the mill as part of its decision to reduce focus on its European diaper business and was unable to find a buyer for it at that time.
