On November 15 2016, an Arbitrator issued his Award regarding the “reasonable period of time” for implementing the recommendations and rulings of the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) in the dispute “Colombia – Measures Relating to the Importation of Textiles, Apparel and Footwear (WT/DS461/14). The Arbitrator determined that the “reasonable period of time” for Colombia to implement the DSB’s recommendations and rulings in this dispute is seven months from the adoption of the panel and Appellate Body reports. The “reasonable period of time” therefore expires on January 27, 2017.”
