Made In Britain: Extex expands its brand and seeks new distributors
Following the success of its recent product showcase at this year’s Best of Britannia show in London, luxury outdoor fabric brand Extex is expanding and actively seeking new worldwide distributors to stock the Extex brand from the UK, to the USA, the Middle East and Europe
A true advocate of British design and manufacturing, Extex fully embraces the heritage and craftsmanship of British products and is proud to sponsor the ‘Made in Britain’ campaign, “enabling buyers and consumers, at home and abroad to identify British-made products”. Over 90 % of the brand’s fabrics are woven in the UK, alongside their printed fabrics which are all created entirely by hand in an old Victorian mill on the banks of the River Medway in Kent.
From luxurious chic embossed chenilles to acrylic textiles and pioneering printed designs, Extex fabrics are available through the brand’s parent company Marina Mill and the business’ industry partners in fine furnishing and design showrooms worldwide. Combining the perfect fusion of innovative style and super softness and strength, each and every collection is finished to Extex’s usual high standards, with stain-resistant, water repellent, light-fast, machine washable and remarkably hardwearing qualities guaranteed to meet the most rigorous demands of outdoor living.
Extex fabrics are designed and produced by Marina Mill, a family business based in rural Kent, England that has been specialising in designing and producing bespoke fabrics (including expertly hand printed replications of historical fabrics for royal castles and households), since the company’s founders, Keith and Stephanie Rawkins started the business in 1967.
