Saltex is to present sanSirro, a world premiere of intelligent sportswear made in Austria

The body data shirt from sanSirro is deriving on the know-how textile platform Austria and is totally manufactured in Austria. In cooperation with Vtrion textile research GmbH and the telecommunication company TELE2 with a completely new generation of textile based sensors

With the project „sanSirro get smart“ it is the first time ever globally that an Austrian enterprise steps into the world of intelligent sportswear, thus competing with the big enterprises of the sector, however with a remarkable technological advantage.

It is for the first time ever that the complete sensors are made of embroidered intelligent textiles in order to transmit vital data online and in realsanSirro time. The combination from nano-plasma-technology and a new type of embroidered sensors are in the focus of the first, also washable intelligent sportswear worldwide.

The interest in this new project is overwhelming. The crowd-investing campaign started only a few days ago on Conda, Austria’s largest platform for private investors, and already within two hours half of the funding goal was reached, after only  two hours the invested sum reached EUR 150000,and after a week the project received more than EUR 250000, an absolute record of crowd-investing.

Tennis legend Thomas Muster is convinced of the success: “sanSirro represents the most individual sports and casual cloths with the potential to become a world leader. He is also a member of the Advisory Board.
