AATCC Announces 2017 Concept 2 Consumer
AATCC student members are invited to showcase their design talents to win cash and recognition by participating in the 2017 Concept 2 Consumer® Student Design Competition.
AATCC announces the Concept 2 Consumer® Student Design Competition. The 2016 “Everyday Clothes for Extraordinary Kids”- themed competition will challenge students to design a line that redesigns apparel items (leggings, t-shirts, etc.) for children with special needs and/or a disability. This new line should enhance the everyday existence of these children and/or their parents/caregivers. Designers are to draw their colour palette inspiration from PANTONEVIEW Colour Planner Summer 2016.
Students can enter the contest individually or work in teams. Complete guidelines for the contest are available online.
First place earns USD 1000, Pantone Cotton Passport, USD 100 Spoonflower Gift Certificate, USD 100 with award plaque from Shrimag Creations, and Datacolor Spyder 5.
Second place earns USD 750, Pantone Cotton Passport, USD 100 Spoonflower Gift Certificate, USD 100 with award plaque from Shrimag Creations, and Datacolor Spyder 5.
Honourable Mentions (two prizes) each earns USD 100, USD 50 Spoonflower Gift Certificate, USD 25 with award plaque from Shrimag Creations, and Datacolor Spyder 5.
Entries are due April 12, 2017. To enter, send a pdf of the poster project to AATCC. Winners will be announced by May 31, 2017.
