French Sophie Hallet acquires Dentelles MC
French Sophie Hallette acquires via Holesco Group Dentelles MC the reminder of the already 50 % ownership and consolidates its market position after the takeover of Codentel in April 2016
With the new investment the ownership Holesco of Sophie Hallette secures total control of the shares created in April 2011 by the partners Edith Mery and Holesco. At that time their holdings were 50:50.
Dentelle MC is specialising in lace Leavers focussed on the clothing sector and for the benefit of the production of its label Denmtelle de Calais-Caudry. This enterprise with roots in 1924 employs 20 persons and secures a large part of proceeds in large exports.
Edith Mery, actual COE de Dentelle MC states “It was a pleasure to lead the company over more than five years and it was thanks to the partnership with Holesco since the very beginning. In securing continuation of the founding spirit I entrust the future of Dentelle MC to Romain Lescroart, a young entrepreneur leading companies well introduced in our sector”.
Sophie Hallette is consolidating its constant engagement in favour of Filière dentelle des Hauts de France, plus more specific at Caudry and with Calais, Leavers lace.
