Bluesign Xperience blueXpert web based resource productivity calculator now available

As announced during the last bluesign® conference in summer 2015 the web-based application bluesign® blueXpert is now available.

The result of the collaboration of Archroma, Huntsman, DyStar and CHT/BEZEMA as well as bluesign technologies and the involvement of morebluesign Xperience blueXpert  2 than 80 further chemical suppliers will give the textile industry the possibility to reduce resource consumption and their environmental impact in a big way. The resource productivity calculator is designed for bluesign® system partner manufacturers of textiles and combines bluesign® approved chemistry with verified best practice processes from bluesign® system partner chemical suppliers. The application allows the manufacturer to calculate their own standard processes including specific company conditions and chemicals used in regards of resource consumptions and environmental impact. The access to best practice processes provides comprehensive textile technology knowledge which could been used to simulate these processes based on the company’s actual conditions. Furthermore, the standard processes could be used as a benchmark to compare the company’s best practice process and show potential resource and cost savings as well as reduction of environmental impact. By implementing optimized processes, resource productivity could be increased, costs savings achieved, impact reduced and risks related to hazardous chemicals minimized all at the same time.
