Industry 4.0 in textile and fashion production

Industry 4.0 stands for intelligent production, lot size 1 and new business models. The aim is on increasing productivity, flexibility and efficiency. For enterprises, it offers manifold fields of actions, but the question remains what are the chances and challenges linked with digitalisation?

To answer these first questions, the German umbrella organisation textile+mode (textile and fashion) is organising the event on April 5, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at VDMA in Frankfurt, Germany. The event will be conducted in German only.

The event will present examples from firms and science to show the chances and challenges along the textile value chain. Thus, applicants from the sectors of the textile and fashion industry, technology providers from engineering and research institutes are welcome to exchange opinions across sectors. The event forms part of the series textile+mode 4.0.
