Has Group becomes first and only Turkish member of German VDMA
Its membership was officially registered and it was admitted as a member of the German Engineering Federation in June 2015
Upon its admission as a member of the VDMA during this year, which is regarded as one of the greatest achievements of Has Group, Tamer Hasbay said “The VDMA is a German engineering organization which features a confederation structurally and is recognized as one of the largest organizations of Europe. Our admission as member of the VDMA was an important milestone indicating that we are in the same league with our European competitors.”
The Association serves under a structure which protects the diverse customer-supplier relations throughout the entire value chain, encourages cooperation, and offers capability for system suppliers and system integrators through service providers.
Believing that VDMA membership has a distinct importance for Has Group and that it both gives prestige and offers the advantage of being European ahead of time to it, Tamer Hasbay continued his evaluation on this matter as follows: “Important manufacturers around the world see this organization as a source. Furthermore, it has significant studies in the technical field involving such legal provisions related with machine safety, standardization and joint research. These also indicate that it gives priority to innovation besides the growth of and creation of high quality by the industry. Our admission to this structure is in a sense self-proving of ourselves. Our admission to such an organization as the first Turkish firm is another honour for us, showing the level that Turkish firms have reached.”
