U.S. Under Armour Appoints New CFO

Under Armour announced on December 22, 2015 that Chip Molloy, the former Chief Financial Officer of PetSmart, Inc., will join Under Armour as its new Chief Financial Officer on January 19, 2016

To help ensure a smooth transition, Molloy will work closely with the company’s current CFO Brad Dickerson, who will remain with the company in an advisory capacityChip Molloy through February.  A seasoned member of Under Armour’s accounting and finance organization, David Bergman, Vice President of Finance & Corporate Controller, will also play a key role in the transition.

Molloy comes to Under Armour with significant financial executive experience in the consumer retail sector.   He served as EVP and CFO for PetSmart from 2007 until 2013, where in 2011 he was named Institutional Investor’s CFO of the Year for Specialty Retail.  Most recently he served as a Senior Advisor for Atlanta-based private equity firm Roark Capital Group since October 2014 and has served on a number of public company boards of directors.

Molloy is a native of Maryland and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis.  He graduated from Navy Fighter Weapons School or “Top Gun” and served 10 years as a navy fighter pilot.  He also earned an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Former American Montforts President joins Navis Tubetex Marshall & Williams stenter business unit 

Navis TubeTex, a leading supplier of high technology finishing machinery to the global textile industry, has announced that Joe Okey, formerly president of American Monforts, has joined the company’s Marshall & Williams (MW) stenter business unit.

Marshall & Williams has been producing stenters for over 95 years. The company was acquired by Navis TubeTex in 2000. The company has made significant investments in the Marshall & Williams product line in recent years, including launching the new “N-Dura” model.

Joe Okey commented:  “Marshall & Williams has an outstanding reputation in the stenter business and with the launch of the new N-Dura model, the business is growing very rapidly. I am very excited to join the team at Navis TubeTex and contribute to the success of the MW product line.”

Schoeller Textil USA with new West Coast Sales Manager

Schoeller Textil U.S.A. announced the addition of Fawn Knadler to the U.S. team as the new West Coast Sale Manager

Schoeller KnadlerKnadler brings detailed knowledge of fabric development, apparel lifecycle development as well as sales and distribution. She most recently held the position of Merchandising Manager for Apparel and Outerwear at Mervin Manufacturing serving the famous Lib Tech and Gnu brands.  It was an exciting period at Mervin with Mervin ownership shifting from QuikSilver to Altamonte Capital.  Previously, Knadler was Director of Sales for Spacecraft and was also a Project Manager for Utility Inc. where she worked with established as well as emerging outdoor companies.
