China import figures of PE and PP in October2015

China imported 1.24 million tonnes of combined polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) volumes in October 2015, down from September levels, local traders said on November 16, 2015

Totally 869000 tonnes of PE and 370000 tonnes of PP were brought into the country last month, they said.

Compared with official data for September imports, October 2015 PE imports inched up by 0.2%, while PP imports fell by 11.7%.
