Istituto Marangoni] opens the Milan Fashion Week with an entirely womenswear fashion show showcasing 16 of the best fashion designers from the four: Istituto Marangoni Schools of Fashion (Milan, London, Paris and Shanghai).  An important event included in the official calendar that will take place in Milan, city in which Istituto Marangoni has laid its foundations in 1935 and where it chose to celebrate its 80 years of history promoting its International vocation as well as its strong Italian identity, always present in all its schools, in the academic curricula and in the desire to develop students’ creativity based on the concept of “Made in Italy” and the heritage of Italian craftsmanship, full of strong aesthetic references in the fields of art, fashion and design.

Theme of the show will be the “Fashion Warrior”, the same developed in the new ADV campaign and in the school corporate image, a clear invitation to fight for the future using one’s own creativity , not an innate gift, but rather an attitude inside every individual that must be constantly nurtured the way Istituto Marangoni has been doing since 1935, by providing those who decide to join it with the most suitable tools to transform their talent into a business.

Every student will show six women’s outfits for a total of 96 creations promising to surprise the public for the creative use of the materials, the originality of the outfits and the choice of fabrics and colours, resulting from the personal inclination of each student and the influence of their home country as well as the country in which they decided to pursue their studies.

At the end of the show, some of the talented seniors of the academic year 2014/15 will also have the chance to present the works developed throughout the Interior Design, Fashion Design and Fashion Styling courses within a very suggestive set-up. The over 5,000 m2 of the location will be lit up by creativity, research and innovation: projects dedicated to the themes of fashion and interior expressed in materials, shapes, textures and technologies that will amaze once again for their accuracy, care for details and contemporary mood.
