Dutch Tanatex Chemicals collects EUR 4230 by running for charity
Tanatex Chemicals has raised EUR 4230for charity in the famous Dam to Dam Run in the Netherlands. A total of seventeen runners collected EUR 2115, – for Michael-Wings, a foundation that contributes to the realisation of internet to bed on paediatric wards of hospitals and care centres in the Netherlands
Tanatex Chemicals, producer of innovative textile processing solutions from the Netherlands, doubled the amount to EUR 4.230. The charity was chosen by one of the runners, based on his own experience with the charity.
Michael-Wings’ board members John Kenniphaas and Joop Sinke were given the cheque by Tanatex CEO Marco de Koning and some of the runners of the ten mile run. The amount will be used to buy laptops for the Rafeja hospital in Stadskanaal and the Scheper hospital in Emmen. On Friday October 9th, these hospitals will receive the equipment during a festive ceremony, where Hans Nijland, CEO of FC Groningen, will be the ambassador for the day. Up to now, 27 hospitals have benefited from the facilities Michael-Wings offer.
