Call for papers at next TCL 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic
TCL 2016 the International Conference on Textile Coating and Laminating (March 15 -17, 2016) is offering the opportunity for anyone with exciting and relevant ideas on textile coating and laminating to present to a high-level international audience at the next TCL2016 in Prague next spring. The deadline for receipt of Abstracts is September 9, 2015, the earlier the better
Contributions in the following areas, with emphasis on work that will impact the industry, short term as well as the future. Topics listed are not final but are given to provide context: Session 1 The State of the Industry: Presentations focused on an overview of the industry covering the depth of the coating and laminating industry, the economic outlook, global developments that will affect the industry, environmental issues impacting the industry.
Session 2 Techniques and Materials: Focus on developments in machinery and techniques. Production efficiency, bonding systems, developments in polymers, surface modifications, techniques for extreme properties etc.
Session 3 Technology for Growth: Topics such as nanotechnology, antimicrobial/antibacterial, smart/intelligent coating and laminating, green technology, conducting materials, developments in self-decontaminating, self-repair, treatments for improved properties.
Session 4 Opportunities: Focused on developing markets and applications such as solar/thermal, fuel cells, composites, medical/biotechnology, extreme materials, leisure, commercial, and “out of this world” potential.
Abstracts submitted for review should be 300-500 words. Selection of the papers to be presented will be based on ideas and concepts that emphasize new and significant findings/developments that will impact the coating and laminating industry.
Speakers accepted by way of the call for papers will be eligible for a 50% discount on the registration admission fee. Speakers are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
The abstract must include the name, company or other affiliation, telephone number, e-mail address and mailing address of the speaker and/or the person to whom correspondence about the abstract should be directed. Only one speaker per presentation will be allowed, though co-authors may be listed. The speaker for the paper should be indicated. All presentations should be planned to run approximately 25 minutes.
