The first estimate for Euro Area (EA19) exports of goods to the rest of the world in June 2015 was EUR 182.7 billion, an increase of 12 % compared with June 2014 (EUR 162.7 billion). Imports from the rest of the world stood at EUR 156.4 billion, a rise of 7 % compared with June 2014 (EUR 146.7 billion). As a result, the Euro Area recorded a EUR 26.4 billion surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in June 2015, compared with +EUR16.0 in June 2014

Intra-Euro Area trade rose to EUR 151.2 billion in June 2015, up by 10 % compared with June 2014

In January to June 2015, Euro Area exports of goods to the rest of the world rose to EUR 1011.7 billion (an increase of 6 % compared with January – June 2014), while imports rose to EUR 896.7 billion (an increase of 3 % compared with January – June 2014).  As a result the Euro Area recorded a surplus of EUR 115.0 billion, compared with a +EUR 76.4 billion in January – June 2014.

Intra-euro area trade rose to EUR 850.7 billion in January – June 2015, up by 3 % compared with January – June 2014.

The first estimate for extra-EU28 exports of goods in June 2015 was EUR 159.7 billion, up by 13 % compared with June 2014 (EUR 141.4 billion). Imports from the rest of the world stood at EUR 149.3 billion, up by 7 % compared with June 2014 (ERU 139.4 billion). As a result, the EU28 recorded a EUR 10.4 billion surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in June 2015, compared with +EUR 2.0 in June 2014. Intra-EU28 trade rose to EUR 271.3 billion in June 2015, +10 % compared with June 2014.

In January to June 2015, extra-EU28 exports of goods rose to EUR 887.9 billion (an increase of 7 % compared with January – June 2014), while imports rose to EUR 864.6 billion (an increase of 4 % compared with January – June 2014). As a result, the EU28 recorded a surplus of EUR 23.3 billion, compared with -EUR 3.8 billion in January – June 2014.

Intra-EU28 trade rose to EUR 1532.9 billion in January – June 2015, +4 % compared with January – June 2014.
