All about Denim or Jeans are more than Jeans
A.Monforts Textilmaschinen has just published a new 16 page “World of Denim” Magazine, available upon request (email@example.com)
It highlights the latest fashion trends in denim production and by placing a special emphasis on textile finishing with the company’s range of Montex stenters.
The magazine is proving “jeans are more than jeans” by illustrating new designs introduced at a recent “Denim et Première vision” exhibition in Paris. Specialised new designs included graduated effects; bleached, painted or woven; bi-stretch or extra stretch for sculptable silhouettes; two toned or tonal effects and contrasts within the garment construction – to say nothing of styles, cuts and colours, all of these have one thing in common: they are all finished on Montex stenters.
The core technical article on finishing of denim describes finishing of elastic denim fabrics, discontinuous finishing techniques for weft-elastic denim fabric, behaviour of weft-elastic denim fabrics, discontinuous finishing techniques for weft-elastic denim, semi continuous and fully continuous methods, and the latest fully continuous method for classic and elastic denim fabrics. This feature is written bei Dipl. Ing. Kurt van Wersch of Monforts.
The magazine also carries a report on the Tavex Corporation’s facility in Mexico, and how the installation of a new Montex stenter was able to increase production for stretched denim.
