Belgian weaving specialists will unveil new customer Training Centre in mid-2014
Another important event for Belgian Picanol, it will open its Training Centre at its headquarters in Ieper in mid-2014
The new Training centre will be equipped with three training rooms (each with two weaving machines, mock-ups, mini-workshop, etc.) and on a surface of 270 m2, where customer’s personnel are specifically trained on Picanol weaving machines and in weaving room management at large, because the quality of the weave and the efficiency of the machine are largely determined by the way materials and machines are handled. Ongoing staff training to keep on top of the job is crucial for any well managed business. Already provisions are made to expand the Training Centre with a fourth room.
The Picanol contract normally includes training vouchers, depending on the number of machines purchased and customers can send their staff to Ieper (B) for expert training. The vouchers cover the cost of training, and therefore last year the decision was taken to invest in a state-of-the-art Training Centre at Picanol.
The new Training Centre offers all possible facilities for trainees to comprehensively learn of weaving machines, technologies and the various options available.
