Monforts to release “World of Textiles” magazine
Monforts Texilmaschinen (founded in 1884) has just released a new 36 page volume magazine “World of Textiles” with references worldwide. It is the 14th issue and is available upon request (firstname.lastname@example.org) listing the highlights of recent installations and techniques for its range of textile continuous dyeing and finishing equipment, as well as company news
Installations include the sixth Monforts sanforising line and a Montex stenter completing a USD 30 million modernisation programme for Colombia’s largest textile company, Fabricato SA.
Alatex Printing, a leading Italian silk printing specialist, has taken delivery of second Montex stenter for finishing duties for the company’s inkjet digital printing applications.
Another example is Pakistan’s Nishat Mills who is currently installing a new Thermex 5500 continuous dyeing line, together with an Econtrol system to finish a projected 4.5 million metres/month, meaning a one million metres increase. Ecocontrol is expected to reduce the cost of production by reducing water consumption.
In a first for Monforts, a newly installed 5-chamber Montex stenter at Portugal’s LASA company has been configured for the first two chambers to be heated by steam produced from the company’s co-generation plant. A simple changeover switch allows the two chambers to be heated above 180° C, if required, by gas.
Luckytex in Thailand has completed the installation of a Thermex 6500 hotflue system, a Montex 6500 and a MXL moist cross linking process to ensure more value added production.
Montex Austria reports a “very healthy” order book at the occasion of its 30th anniversary, coinciding with the opening of Monforts Advance Technology Centre, representing a EUR 2.5 million investment.
