German Reifenhäuser Reicofil will present new nonwovens business field at Index 2014
Reifenhäuser Reicofil will showcase at Booth 2531 at Index 2014 (April 8 -11, 2014) in Geneva (CH) its latest state-of-the-art technology and developments, and jointly with its sister company Reifenhäuser Cast Sheet Coating (specialist for cast film, sheet and coating lines), the machine manufacturer will launch an innovative combination product made of nonwoven and film
Bernd Künter, sales manager at Reicofil explains: We will create a completely new business field with the new product, offering a great market potential for existing customers. By realizing this project, we have benefited a great deal from the synergies within the Riefenhäuser Group. For that reason, Group members Reifenhäuser Cast Sheet Coating and Reifenhäuser Kefel Extrusion will also be present with their line technology at the booth at Index 2014 in Geneva.
Another Reicofil highlight will be the new lightweight material initially presented to the public at the K 2013 plastics show in October 2013. It is a rollable fibre-reinforced plastic on the basis of nonwovens. In addition, a number of calendered, hydro-entangled, needled and thermo-bonded nonwovens, melt-blown fabrics and composites for hygiene, medical and industrial applications will be demonstrated.
