German Erhardt+Leimer with new Korean subsidiary
German specialist for web guiding and inspection technology, Erhardt+Leimer, has opened in October its fifth Asian subsidiary
The company’s other four subsidiary locations are in China, Taiwan, India and Japan, already established decades ago. They account for 50 % of the group’s proceeds.
The opening of the Korean subsidiary marks a new phase. E+L was active in the Korean market for several years and by representatives in the textiles and paper/foil business areas. The focus is on customers such as Samsung or Hyundai. The new subsidiary should better assist and support medium Korean customers in the future and develop new markets for the tire and web inspection industry. The subsidiary will be managed by Peter Choi, and Mathias Lee will act as sales manager.
