Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics with excellent results
Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, the China international trade fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories (October 21 – 24, 2013 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China had a record breaking visitor and exhibitor numbers and visitors were praising the increasing quality of Chinese exhibitors as well as benefits of fringe programme
A total of 3751 visitors were registered from 35 countries, this marks an increase of 11.7 %. It comprised a 10 % rise in domestic and 15 % in overseas suppliers. For the first time Belarus, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Macau, South Africa, the UAE and Uzbekistan were present. 69000 buyers from 98 countries and regions were visiting, 5 % more than last year. Over 260 premium manufacturers of fabrics and accessories were showcasing their products in SalonEurope, whereas in SalonEurope, the Milano Unica Pavilion housed 132 high-end Italian fabrics and accessories firms (+17 %). There were more than 2590 Chinese exhibitors.
Also all other newly or existing special ventures within the show were successful. We have previously reported extensively on the event. The benefits of fringe programme, comprising fashion shows, trend forums, seminars, etc. got visitors appraisal.
As we communicated before, the spring edition is shifting from Beijing to Shanghai. Shanghai is like a hub in China, and it’s easy to go to nearby cities like Hangzhou where the textile industry is booming. This edition will be held from March 3- 5, 2014 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. The autumn edition is scheduled from October 20 – 23, 2014 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
