Rieter with first automatic rotor line and licensee in north China
Further success for Swiss Rieter rotor spinning at St. Meer International Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. in north China, it is the firsts fully automatic Rieter rotor in that area
St. Meer has another particularity, it is a complete Rieter spinning mill and the factory belongs to Qingdao ST. Meer Group, one of the leading manufacturers of rotor yarns in north China. The plant is located on the west coast in the Qingdao Export Processing Industrial Park, and the spinning mill is covering an area of 10000 m2 with a modern cotton dedicated warehouse occupying a further 10000 m2. The plant is able to produce high
quality Ne 7 to Ne 40 rotor yarns on the advanced fully automated spinning equipment R 60 of Rieter.
St. Meer is also the holder of a Rieter yarn license for high quality Com4®rotor yarns offering the customer an optimal promotion platform to win new customers for rotor yarns and to develop a close customer relationship.
The spinning mill was set up in 2010 with the installation of three R 60 rotor spinning machines. To date, six complete R 60 rotor lines were installed and by the end of 2013 the number of R 60s will be extended to 12 units.
The official reference mill ceremony of the Rieter rotor line took place on July 19, 2013 during a group visit to the ST. Meer spinning mill. More than 70 customers from Shandong Province participated in the concluding activity of Rieter’s Customer Day in Qingdao.
