Cooperation in the denim area between DyStar and Indian Arvind

An agreement of cooperation has been signed on June 21, 2013 between DyStar (a solution specialist for the textile and leather industry) and Indian Arvind (eco friendly vertically textile and apparel value chain)

With the agreement, DyStar Indigo Vat 40 % Solution will be applied at all Arvind denim manufacturing sites. Teams from DyStar and Arvind Limited Denim Division will work closely together to implement new technologies in indigo dyeing and finishing as well as develop new products, processes and effects for denim fabrics and garments.

In 1980 Arvind became a pioneer to manufacture denim in India. Today’s installed capacity is over 110 million m/year, thus the company is one of the largest denim producer worldwide and using state-of-the-art machinery. The core competence lays in design, innovation and sustainability and a key to success and being at the forefront of innovation worldwide and offering products of highest quality. These products are designed by India’s designer, but derive also from designers from Japan, Italy and the USA.
