French H&M collaborates with French designer for autumn line
For its autumn collection H&M Hennes and Mauritz the worldwide operating clothier chain will collaborate with Paris designer Isabel Marant offering the touch of Paris chic
Marant is mixing urban attitude, boho (bohemia) elegance and rock ‘n’Roll spirit and is delivering a genuine French allure. For H&M she will create a wardrobe of must have pieces inspired by her signature style that will be available in around 250 stores worldwide, and as of November 14, 2013. The collection features clothing and accessories for women and teenagers and she will, for the first time ever, create a collection for men.
The French designer is born and raised in Paris and started to customise her own clothes while still at high school. She is a graduate of famed Studio Berçot, she worked her way up in the fashion area with a jewellery line, then adding knitwear, finally launching her eponymous collection in 1994. Today, she is running an internationally successful fashion powerhouse with a string of boutiques worldwide.
