More worldwide trade of goods in the first quarter of 2013
According OECD Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development has just released the figures on trade of goods for the first quarter of 2013, against the fourth quarter of 2012 the trade of merchandise for the G7 countries increased by 1.3 % and for the BRICS countries 2.8 %
Germany’s imports increased by 3.9 % and exports by 4.8 %, China’s imports grew 0,9 % and exports 5.6 %, Brazils imports were up 5.1 % and exports 4.9 %. The American imports increased by 0.7 % and exports by 1.0 %. Even Italy’s imports were up 1.4 % and exports 3.2 %. Growing imports and exports noted also Canada (imports +1.6 %, exports +1.2 %), France’s imports up 0.5 %, and exports 1.9 %, and the Russian Federation imported 4.9 % more, but exports stagnated.
There are also countries with lesser imports and exports, such as South Africa’s imports -4.3 % and exports -0.3 %. In Great Britain there were lesser imports (0.3 %), whereas exports increased by 1.3 %. India recorded lesser imports (0.9 %) and exports (6.1 %). Japan’s imports decreased 0.9 % and exports 6.1 %.
