Chinese minimum wage rates again on the rise

Since April 1, 2013 thirteen Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, have raised their minimum wage rates

The thirteen provinces are Shanghai, Gjuangdong, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Beijing , Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Jiangxi, Guanxi, Gansu, Shaanxi and Guizhou. On the top of the list we find Shanghai with a monthly increase of 41.4 % to CNY 1620, the average increase is 16.9 % and in all regions the minimum rate is now above CNY 1000.
