US Gap launches Jimi Hendrix T-Shirts






Since March 4, 2013 Gap – the global apparel and accessories brand focused on delivering casual, American style – announced a yearlong celebration of the life and music of Jimi Hendrix in honour of his 70th birthday through the launch of two limited-edition T-shirt designs featuring art from the iconic musician’s new album, People, Hell and Angels introducing previously unreleased studio recordings from 1969, the year Gap was founded in san Francisco

The exclusive cotton T-Shirts are available in styles for men and women and offered in US stores on March 15, 2013 and with a price tag of USD 29.95 each. In addition also select Gap stores in Canada, Great Britain, France, Italy, Japan and China will sell the items as of late March.

Gap’s 1969 Soho store in New York City and Gap’s Seattle stores at 5th Pine and Southcenter were offering a special pre-launch of the t-shirts.
