Italian ACIMIT with new training initiatives
ACIMIT, the umbrella Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers has always been playing a fundamental role in promoting awareness and knowledge of Italian technologies for textile operators, as well as supporting training initiatives and courses for personnel in countless textile production facilities making use of Italian machinery worldwide
This commitment is evidenced through numerous forms of partnership initiated by ACIMIT with technical institutes and engineering faculties, both in Italy and abroad. The latest of these partnerships has been launched with the Indian Textile & Engineering Institute of Ichalkaranji (DKTE’S) for the implementation of a local training centre. TextileFuture has reported in detail.
ACIMIT follows with great interest new educational and training initiatives and therefore the new first level University Master’s course in Management and Textile Engineering promoted by LIUC Università Carlo Cattaneo di Castellanza (VA) and Città Studi Biella, starting in Biella in September 2013 and lasting to July 2014, is being watched very closely by ACIMIT. The Master’s course is targeted at recent engineering graduates, manager or technicians already working and in possession of an engineering degree from Italy or elsewhere. The aim is to provide participants with essential training allowing the students to qualify for technical positions in the textile and garments sector and by combining an assimilation of the latest specific technology and managerial and behavioural skills.
Interested EU students and those who studied in Italy, hand in their application by August 2, 2013, those of outside the EU by May 3, 2013 (please refer for details to the second link below).
