Colour Solutions International is partnering with IDEAS Active Sports Design Network

Colour Solutions, a division of DyStar, providing retailers and brands with a variety of flexible colour options and services, announce on February 6, 2013 that it is partnering with IDEAS Active Sports Design Network to specify CSO colours on seasonal trend forecasts from IDEAS

The trend colours are selected from SCO’s 4000 Colour WallTM colours, which are formulated with production ready recipes based on globally available dyes from DyStar. As an added benefit, DyStar’s dyes have the highest ecological commitment (Econfidence®) in the global textile industry.

The aim of the partnership is to increase the speed of the seasonal palette development process for brands and retailers as well as to improve colour accuracy and consistency from design to garment. Ron Pedemonte, DyStar Textile Services Global Manager stated: The new partnership with IDEAS demonstrates how colour forecasters and colour standard providers can work together to deliver added value to their customer base”.

IDEAS colour forecasters cater specifically to thje international sports markets. A unique forecast – two years ahead of the season – made by sport design professionals for the sports industry. Nora Kuehner, Secretary General of IDEAS Active Sports Design Network added: IDEAS strives constantly to improve the service for its customers, therefore the new partnership with DyStar is a perfect expansion and fit”.

Swiss based IDEAS Active Sports Design Network was founded in 1996 and offers design services to an industry which has started acting global very early. The founders of the association felt the need to establiosh a business platform and showcase for professionally qualified sports related apparel, product and graphic designers. Another main focus of IDEAS is to obtain wider recognition of high quality sports fashion and product design. The membership to IDEAS is very selective and only experienced freelance working design studios are welcome.
