American retail sales slightly on the rise
Americans were spending during the holidays and U.S. retail sales rose 0.5 % in December, in November the rise was 0.4 % according to the American Commerce Department. Excluding automobiles, the growth rate was only 0.3 % in December, but it has to be added that it was falling in November. It might be a crucial increase since Macy’s Inc. and Target Corp. declared already that December sales growth hasn’t been as strong as hoped.
