American NetSuite to accelerate international expansion of Fashion Accessories Brand

Global Women’s Fashion Accessories Brand Evita Peroni (a family owned business, founded 1988 in Copenhagen, Denmark, selling women’s hair accessories, jewellery and eyewear through franchises) extends its footprint from 32 to 122 countries with NetSuite SuiteCommerce platform for running its entire global eCommerce business. The Danish retailer with logistics and warehousing in Hong Kong, now relies on NetSuite SuiteCommerce for inventory and order management, distribution, local tax compliance, multi-currency management, customer relationship management and marketing, all with minimal in-house IT resources

Since the installment of NetSuite SuiteCommerce, Evita Peroni – with offices in Denmark, Hong Kong, Beijing, London and San Francisco) has nearly quadrupled its international reach from 32 to 122 countries and sold tens of thousands of products around the world and thereof many in countries where the retailer has no physical stores, such as the U.S. The company now plans to add additional touch points in 2013, including mobile, and it has the option to integrate its retail POS systems, for real-time financial consolidation of its multi channel global business.

Evita Peroni focused two decades on retailing in shopping malls and premium department stores but has chosen Net Suite in August 2010 to support its entry into eCommerce. NetSuite’s complete cloud based commerce solution supports the brand’s global footprint and offers easy scalability to support future growth.

NetSuite’s Hong Kong based partner, The Egg, build Evita Peroni’s online store in around 20 weeks to atrrct new and existing shoppers for the Christmas 2010 season and beyond. The brand owners were surprised that its online store quickly spread beyond its traditional retail footprint, exponentially attracting users from around 80 countries were no Evita Peroni franchises exist, such as the U.S. and Canada and those now account for around 42 % of the company’s eCommerce traffic. Thousands of visitors spend nearly seven minutes every month , selectively browsing its extensive catalogue of fashion accessories with 500 product ranges, various colour choices that make 1200 items available to shoppers almost anywhere around the globe and in multiple currencies. Today, more than 12000 companies and subsidiaries depend on NetSuite to run complex, mission-critical business processes globally in the cloud.
