Swedish H&M Hennes and Mauritz plans concept store in New York

Swedish internationally operating fashion retail chain H&M Hennes and Mauritz signed a lease for a new full concept store in New York’s Manhattan (USA)




The new concept store is H&M’s 13th location in News York and in Manhattan at 4 Times Square (the prominent crossroad of the world) and will have a surface of approximately 42500 square feet on three floors of fashion for the entire family (ladies, men and children) and will be a shopping destination with a unique and interactive design welcoming customers from all over the world. The new location will join the new planned flagship store on Fifth Avenue as a worldwide shopping destination.

With the new location, H&M will definitely become part of the iconic New York Skyline with the LED H&M signage at the very top of the building measuring 70 x 70 feet.

The company opened its first US store in Manhattan in 2000 and disposes of 13 stores in Manhattan alone in 2013 and over 250 across the American Nation. Daniel Kulle, U.S. President for H&M, announced that the potential for H&M is not yet exhausted and it is planned to continue to open stores in Manhattan as well as the greater New York City area. Recently was also announced the opening of a store in The Shops at Columbus Circle, located at the prestigious Time Warner Center, and towards the end of this year the new flagship store at 589 Fifths Avenue representing the large H&M store in the world covering 57000 square feet.
