DyStar on acquisition spree
DyStar L.P. and its owner, the Lonsheng Group (China), have completed today the acquisition of Anglostar LLC and its subsidiaries as of October 1, 2012 and at unknown conditions
Anglostar LLC in Greer, South Carolina (USA), is a specialist of dyes and dyestoffs and specialty chemicals with subsidiaries in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Since March 30, 2010, Anglostar LLC was the appointed exclusive distributor for DyStar products in the Andean region, and this region has had an outstanding growth in 2012 and is expected to enhance further.
According to Ron Pedemonte, President of DySTar Americas the acquisition is a combination of Anglostar’s excellent team and DyStar Longshen Group’s financial power to provide Andean customers with a strong and long-term supplier of dyes, chemicals and services.
