Autefa Solutions in expansion phase
Autefa Solutions (D) will expand its headquarters in Friedberg, Bavaria (D) by uniting the traditional companies Fehrer, F.O.R., Octir and Autefa under one roof
As we all know, since ITMA Barcelona of last September, Autefa Solutions forms part of the Chinese Group CHTC China’s High-Tech Corporation, the largest textile machinery manufacturer in China.
Autefa Group’s philosophy caters to the development and implementation of innovative and customer oriented products based on continued further development, with design and manufacturing in Europe. Autefa Solutions’ product portfolio entails bale presses, nonwoven machines (fibre preparation, carding machines, crosslappers and needle looms), wool processing machines, and automation for the consumer goods sector, all manufactured at the European locations in Friedberg (D), Linz (A) and Biella (I) and these three sites will collaborate more closely.. In the future and to keep up with the growing Chinese market, Autefa Solutions will have in the future also a manufacturing site in China delivering machines tailored to the Chinese market and in close collaboration with the CHTC sister companies.
Central development activities will be concentrated for all production sites in Germany. Also Autefa Solutions Group’s customer relationship will be also centralised in Friedberg, supported by specialists from the other locations. To accommodate the growing customers’ requirements, the construction of a new assembly building will start shortly.
The site Linz will focus in the future on needle looms and their components and serves also as a technical centre for the nonwoven technology and will be steadily up-dated with the most modern technology.
Significant investments were made to drive the expansion in Biella to continue to serve as the carding and fibre technology centre.
In addition the separate sales and service location in the U.S. will also be enhanced.
